Therefore, Aditya Singh Deshwal, a lawyer by profession, has given this complaint to the Delhi Police in this regard.
Aditya Singh Deshwal said, “This matter is related to Maa Kali. There is a handle on Twitter, Republic Atheist, on which indecency and obscenity has been done towards Maa Kali. In this regard, I complained to Delhi Police. It is requested that action should also be taken against the persons running this Twitter handle, Armin Nawabi Founder Republic Ethist and Susanna Masantayre CEO Republic Ethist, besides other officials of Twitter India. Criminal case should be registered against them.
He said that Armin Nawabi had put a controversial graphic and post of Maa Kali on his personal Twitter handle in 2020. After which he had to face the anger of the people on Twitter. Susanna Masantayre did the same thing and she too had to face criticism from the people. In view of this controversy, Twitter suspended the handles of both. But now both of them put that controversial post again on their handle named Republic Atheist last month. For which Twitter did not take any action. This handle is still running and that post is still on this handle.
He said, “Earlier also, controversial content related to Hindu deities was posted on Instagram. We had approached the Delhi High Court along with complaining to the police in it. After which Delhi Police also registered an FIR and took to Instagram. Was forced to remove that post too.”
Delhi Police has received another complaint against the MD of Twitter and Twitter, in which there is a case of controversial post related to mother Kali. Police officials say that a complaint has just been received, which is being investigated. Whatever is appropriate action will be taken.
