New Delhi: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Sunday at an event organized by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch that the DNA of all Indians is the same, irrespective of religion. He said that Hindu-Muslim unity is misleading as they are not separate but one. People cannot be discriminated on the basis of the way they worship.

Along with this, he said that people who are involved in lynching by mob are against Hindutva. The Sangh chief said that development is not possible without unity in the country. The basis of unity should be nationalism and the glory of ancestors. We live in a democratic country. It cannot be dominated by Hindus or Muslims. Only Indians can dominate.

Mohan Bhagwat further said, “We do not get involved in the politics of votes. We have some ideas about what should happen in the nation. Now if a power has been created then it should be cured, we use so much power in elections also. We are in favor of the national interest.”
