Lockdown in States: Now the second wave of deadly corona virus has started to stop in the country. In view of this, many states of the country have started gradually relaxing the lockdown restrictions. However, there are many states of the country where the lockdown is still in force or the lockdown has been extended. Know how restrictions are in force during the lockdown from the capital Delhi to Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu-Karnataka.
Sports clubs and stadiums in Delhi have been allowed to open in Unlock-6 from today, but without spectators. However, cinema halls and multiplexes, who have been waiting to get rid of the lockdown for a long time, have not got relief this time too. Bars will remain open with 50% seating capacity. The time limit will be from 12 noon to 10 pm only. Whereas markets, market complexes, malls will remain open from 10 am to 8 pm.
In Madhya Pradesh too, the second wave of infection has started to stop. Things have returned to normal in the state, the day’s corona curfew is completely over and markets are opening. Normal life is getting back on track. Meanwhile, the government has decided that only those who have got both doses of Corona vaccine will be able to get admission in cinema, college and coaching center. In the state, only the persons who have got both doses of vaccine at places like cinema, multiplex, coaching center, college will be given admission.
Corona curfew was going on in the state at night and even during the day on Sunday, now the curfew on Sunday has been abolished. The light has returned to the markets. Right now there is a ban on the events of public, religious and political events. Also, cinema halls, colleges, schools, coaching etc. have not been opened.
To prevent the spread of infection, the Haryana government has extended the ongoing lockdown in the state by one week till July 12. However, some relaxation has been given during this period. The state government has named the Kovid lockdown as ‘Pandemic Alert-Safe Haryana’. Shops, malls, restaurants, religious places, corporate offices, wedding ceremonies, funerals and other gatherings will continue to operate as per the existing relaxations. Swimming pool (swimming pool) and spas will remain closed.
The Tamil Nadu government said restrictions on interstate government bus services, social, political, entertainment, cultural and sports related gatherings and reopening of schools, colleges, cinemas, bars, swimming pools and zoos will continue till 6 am on July 12. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed to participate in marriage programs and 20 people in funerals.
In a major relief to temple-goers, the state government decided to allow religious places to be opened to the public only for ‘darshan’ and shopping malls would also be allowed to function. However, educational institutions, theatres, cinema halls and pubs will remain closed. Night curfew will continue from 9 pm to 5 am on weekdays. The weekend curfew has been completely lifted, while social, political, entertainment, educational, cultural, religious functions and other gatherings and large gatherings have been banned.
The government has also decided to increase the guests for weddings and not more than 100 people are allowed in family gatherings from the current limit of 40 guests and 20 people can gather for cremations.
The West Bengal government has extended the restrictions induced by the corona virus in the entire state till July 15. However, additional discounts have been given.
The Punjab government had further relaxed restrictions, allowing bars, pubs and inns to reopen with 50 per cent capacity from July 1.
The Odisha government has extended the partial lockdown in the state for 15 more days till 5 am on July 16. The current restrictions will end at 5 am on Thursday.
