The Meteorological Department said that a low pressure area is likely to form over west-central and adjoining north-west Bay of Bengal adjoining north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts. Low-lying moist easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal will enter some parts of East India from July 8. Due to which it will spread to North West India, covering Punjab and North Haryana by 10 July.
