New Delhi: The Union Cabinet i.e. Modi Cabinet will be expanded this week. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may expand the cabinet on July 8. 17 to 22 ministers will take oath in PM Modi’s new cabinet. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s first reaction has come to the fore regarding the Modi cabinet expansion. Know what he has said.
Rajnath declined to comment
In fact, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was answering the questions of the media after a program. During this, when he was asked that discussions are going on in full swing regarding the expansion of Modi cabinet, in such a situation when will the cabinet expansion take place? To this Rajnath Singh said, “I cannot say anything in this regard right now.”
Preparations to increase NDA’s clan too
It is worth noting that in the states where assembly elections are to be held next year, keeping in mind the social engineering in those states, preference will be given in the cabinet. Apart from this, preparations are being made to increase the NDA clan by including the leaders of regional parties in the Council of Ministers. In such a situation, JDU, LJP, and Apna Dal can get a place in the cabinet.
Talks continue with coalition partners
Let us inform that earlier there were reports that the cabinet expansion will take place on July 7, but now due to non-completion of talks with the coalition partners, the date of cabinet expansion has been extended. BJP National President JP Nadda will return to Delhi late in the evening. He was currently on a three-day tour of Himachal Pradesh.
The burden of many ministers can be reduced in a possible reshuffle. Among these ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Prakash Javadekar, Piyush Goyal and Prahlad Joshi can take the burden of additional ministry.
