Kolkata: The slogans raised during the election season work to keep the morale of the party workers high. Also, slogans are coined to attack the opponents. The government resorts to slogans to count its work. A similar slogan resonated a lot during the West Bengal assembly elections and was in discussion. This slogan was given by the ruling Trinamoo Congress, ‘Khela Hobe’. That is, there will be a game.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has now said that people accepted Khela Hobe, so now ‘Khela Hobe Day’ will be celebrated in Bengal. Mamta Banerjee said this in the West Bengal Assembly.

It is noteworthy that TMC and especially Mamata Banerjee used to use this slogan frequently in election rallies. His target was directly towards the BJP. There is no doubt that this election slogan worked to create an atmosphere in favor of TMC.
The election slogan of TMC did not stop only till Khela Hobe. Another slogan given by Mamta Banerjee along with Khela Hobe, “Khela hobe, dekha hobe, zeta hobe” means play, see and win. Apart from this, Mamata Banerjee had given the slogan of ‘Hare Krishna Hare Ram, Vida Ho BJP-Vam’ in response to the slogan of ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
Not only this, TMC’s eyes are now on Tripura after the victory in the West Bengal assembly elections. The TMC had contested the Bengal assembly elections on the lines of the Khela Hobe slogan, the same Khela Hobe slogan was now released in Tripura also last month. The name of the song in Tripura is ‘Khela Hobe Tripuraya’ which means to be played in Tripura.
