In fact, the statements of senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut and former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis gave fuel to many discussions. Sanjay Raut recently compared the relationship between BJP and Shiv Sena to that of film actor Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Kiran Rao. He said that the friendship between Shiv Sena and BJP will remain intact like Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. The paths of both the parties are different but we are friends.
On the other hand, Devendra Fadnavis had said that there may be some differences with Shiv Sena, but we are not enemies. He said that there are no ifs and buts in politics. When asked whether there was a possibility of the two former colleagues coming together again, Fadnavis had said that an “appropriate decision” would be taken depending on the situation.
