New Delhi: The second wave of corona virus is about to end in the country, but the fear of the third wave has increased the concern of the Ministry of Health and the government. After the decrease in daily cases of Corona, now the process of unlocking has started in the country. Corona rules are still being strictly followed in some states. However, there are some states where schools, gyms, educational institutions, shopping malls and markets have started opening under unlock. In 111 days, more than 34 thousand cases of corona virus have been reported and the number of active cases has come down to less than five lakhs.
Luv Aggarwal said that there are still some states in the country where the positivity rate is more than 10 percent. Names of Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Manipur, Kerala, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim, Odisha, Nagaland are included.
Lav Aggarwal warned the people that the second wave is still going on in the country. Therefore it is necessary to follow the rules of Corona. Presenting the figures, he said that 80 percent of the new cases of corona virus in the country are coming from 90 districts.
However, during this time he also gave news of a relief. He said that for the last 9 days, less than 50,000 cases are being reported in the country. More cases are being reported in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka.
The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that more than 1.66 crore vaccine doses are available with the states, union territories and private hospitals to give to the people.
The ministry said that so far more than 37.07 crore doses of vaccine have been provided to the states and union territories through all the resources and 23,80,000 more doses are being delivered. The ministry said that out of these, the total consumption including the spoiled quantity is 3,54,06,0197 doses.
