Jammu: The Indian Army has foiled a major infiltration plot of Pakistan in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of Jammu. The security forces have not only killed a Pakistani infiltrator involved in this infiltration, but also recovered a huge amount of arms and ammunition from him.
According to Defense Ministry spokesperson Lt Col Devendra Anand in Jammu, on the morning of 7 July 2021, some terrorists from Pakistan side tried to cross the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of Jammu.
According to the army, as soon as the soldiers posted on the border saw some movement on the Line of Control, they immediately swung into action. After this, the equipment and firing on the border surrounded those terrorists and then firing started from both sides. In this shelling, army personnel stationed on the LoC killed a Pakistani infiltrator.
One AK 47 rifle, four AK magazines, 2 hand grenades were recovered from the slain terrorist. The army has claimed that this action of the army on the LoC proves that the soldiers posted on the border are capable of destroying any nefarious conspiracy of Pakistan.
