New Delhi: Bureaucrat-turned-politician Ashwini Vaishnav today took charge of the Ministry of IT, Electronics and Communications. As soon as he took charge, he has warned Twitter about the new IT rules. Responding to media queries on Twitter’s arbitrariness, Ashwini Vaishnav made it clear that the law of the country is equal for all and everyone has to obey it.
Vaishnav replaces Ravi Shankar Prasad
This is Vaishnav’s first term as a Member of Parliament and he will be in charge of the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Ministry of Communications and Ministry of Railways as a cabinet minister. Vaishnav has replaced senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad in the Ministry of Electronics and IT and the Ministry of Communications.

Vaishnav told reporters after taking charge, “I thank the honorable Prime Minister for giving me a great opportunity to serve the country. Telecom, IT and Railways, there is a lot of synergy between the three and I will work to ensure that their vision is fulfilled.
