Now, showing strictness, the administration has announced to impose a big fine. The administration has said that for not applying the mask, there can be a fine of up to Rs 5000 or even eight days in jail.
Please tell that after the relaxation of the lockdown, people are turning towards Shimla and Manali. The Center termed the pictures of people gathering in large numbers at hill stations as “intimidating”, citing the pandemic is not over yet. The government said that those who violate the Kovid protocol will further increase the infection.

A day earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed concern over scenes involving crowded places, people walking without masks or violating social distance. He said that India’s fight against Kovid is going on in full swing, there should be no room for negligence or lack in it. Referring to photos and videos of crowded places, PM Modi said that this is not a good sight and it should cause a ‘feeling of fear’ within us.
PM Modi told the ministers that instilling fear among the people should not be the goal but urging the public to take all kinds of precautions so that the nation can overcome the crisis of this epidemic in the coming times.
