New Delhi: Recent research conducted by Bharat Biotech and Indian Council of Medicine (ICMR) found that covaccine is effective against both beta and delta variants of the virus.
In this study, researchers from ICMR and Bharat Biotech examined blood samples. According to the information, these samples were taken for those who were cured of corona and they were vaccinated against the vaccine. According to the team, the vaccine provided significant protection against both beta and delta variants.
Be based on multiple approved vaccine variants
According to the team, beta and delta variants are becoming a matter of very serious concern for the Kovid-19 vaccination program. The reason behind this is that it has been shown to base many approved vaccines like Moderna’s Mrna1273, Pfizer’s BNT162b2 and Covishield (ChAdOx1). At the same time, covaccine has been found to be effective against alpha, zeta and kappa variants.

The team assessed samples of 20 people who had recovered from Kovid. Along with this, the blood of 17 people who had taken both doses of Covaccine was taken. These samples were evaluated with beta, delta variants showing effective results.
