Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2022: Assembly elections are proposed in Uttar Pradesh in February-March of next year i.e. 2022. But 7-8 months before that, political parties have started setting their pieces on political carrom in UP. On Thursday, when AIMIM MP and party chief Asaduddin Owaisi first reached Lucknow on a tour of Uttar Pradesh and then inaugurated the party office in Bahraich, the political heat in the month of July increased further.
The first office of AIMIM opened in Bahraich in UP is inaugurated by Owaisi himself. Addressing party workers in Bahraich, Asaduddin Owaisi said that now the time has come for Muslims to become ring masters, not card clowns.
Owaisi met Omprakash Rajbhar
At the same time, before going to Bahraich, MP Owaisi met the convener of the Partnership Sankalp Morcha and former cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar in Lucknow. The meeting between the two lasted for about 40 minutes at the Marriott Hotel and after that Asaduddin Owaisi left for Bahraich. AIMIM also has a well thought out strategy behind opening the party office in Bahraich as Bahraich and its surrounding area is considered to be Muslim majority. Some time ago, Owaisi had said that he would field his candidates on 100 seats in Uttar Pradesh.
Actually, there are about 110 seats in UP where the number of Muslim voters is 34-38 percent, while there are 44 seats where Muslim voters are around 40 to 46 percent and there are 11 seats where the number of Muslim voters ranges from 52 to 64 percent. Till then. It is obvious that Owaisi’s eyes are on this vote bank.
Owaisi’s preparation to adopt Bihar formula in Uttar Pradesh too
Talking to the media in Lucknow, Asaduddin Owaisi said that it will be decided after the elections who will become the Chief Minister here. Targeting Akhilesh Yadav in gestures, Owaisi said that now the politics of development will run in UP. MY factor will not work but A to Z alliance will work. Owaisi is also preparing to adopt Bihar formula in Uttar Pradesh because in Bihar elections, Owaisi’s party had fielded 20 candidates, out of which 5 won. In this way, his victory percentage was around 25 percent and some similar strategy is being prepared by Owaisi and his party in UP too.
On the other hand, on Owaisi’s visit to Uttar Pradesh, government minister Anand Swaroop Shukla clearly says that Owaisi’s coming to Uttar Pradesh will not make any difference to the BJP. Those who vote for Owaisi and his party never vote for BJP.
