Afghanistan’s ambassador to India, Farid Mamundzai, blamed Pakistan for the deteriorating situation there. He said that ever since the US announced the withdrawal of its forces from Afghanistan after April, the security situation in Afghanistan worsened. There is a situation of war in around 150 districts. The Taliban have taken many districts under their control.
Farid Mamundzai said that the Taliban is getting help from Pakistan. The Taliban has a leadership council in Quetta, Peshawar, Pakistan. The Taliban have families and investments in Pakistan. If the Taliban had not got the help of Pakistan, the situation in Afghanistan would not have been worse.
In the interview given to the news agency AAI, the Ambassador of Afghanistan said- Our army is taking action. Our army has taken back 10 districts in the last 3 days. Hopefully we will take back the rest of the districts as well. Things will change in the next few weeks.
He said that friendship with them is not good. Today we are facing these bad conditions, tomorrow maybe Pakistan may also face the situation. We request Pakistan not to be friends with Taliban. Friendship with terrorism never pays off.
Mamundzai further said that no other country in this area has given us the kind of help India has given us in the Air Force. No other country has given us as many weapons as India has given us. For this I thank India.
