The Maharashtra government has ordered strict adherence to the Corona guidelines at tourist places in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said on Friday that for four tourist places, the police have been asked to strictly ensure the Kovid-19 guidelines there.
With the arrival of 9,114 new cases of corona virus infection in Maharashtra, the number of infection cases has increased to 61,31,976 and the death toll has reached 1,24,296 due to the death of 121 people. An official of the Health Department said on Friday that these new cases of infection came to the fore on Thursday. On Wednesday, there were 9,558 cases of infection and 147 people died and in comparison there has been a decline in the number of new cases and deaths.

A total of 8,815 patients have been discharged from hospitals on Thursday, taking the number of people who have become infection free in the state to 58,89,982. Kovid-19 treatment of 1,14,444 patients is still going on in the state. Out of these, maximum 17,435 patients are in Pune district. After this, 16,546 patients are being treated in Thane and 11,470 in Mumbai.
The official said that the rate of people recovering from Kovid-19 in Maharashtra is 96.05 percent while the death rate is 2.02 percent. So far 4,33,50,257 samples have been tested for Kovid-19 out of which 2,25,457 samples were tested on Thursday. The infection rate in the state is 14.15 percent.
In Maharashtra, 6,24,511 people are currently living separately at home and 4,572 others are in separate centers. In Mumbai, after 532 more patients were found infected with the corona virus on Thursday, the number of epidemic cases increased to 7,26,037 while 13 people lost their lives to 15,586. The official said that 357 people were found infected in Pune city, taking the number of infection cases to 4,97,326 while the death toll has gone up to 8,440 due to the loss of three patients.
Nagpur, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nashik, Aurangabad and Amravati cities reported 18, 263, 70, five and six new cases of Kovid-19 respectively. Pune district has the maximum number of 10,30,168 patients who have recovered from the disease in the state. After this, 6,96,664 people became infection free in Mumbai and 5,56,756 in Thane.
