These days a huge crowd of tourists is being seen in Himachal Pradesh. People are seen breaking the rules since the relaxation of the Corona protocol. In such a situation, the state government has expressed concern. On Friday, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has expressed concern about Corona due to the increase in the number of tourists in the mountains. He also instructed the Deputy Commissioner and the SP to keep the crowd under control.
During the meeting with the officials, the Chief Minister said, “We have to ensure that those who are roaming without masks, the NGO people and policemen are provided masks at the same time.” He also made a special appeal to the tourists. He said, “I request tourists to come to Himachal Pradesh, you are welcome but you should also follow the Kovid guidelines.” State Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu said, “Due to Kovid-19, thousands of people are coming here to do ‘work from home’, escaping from the confinement and heat of homes. And the increase in congestion not only in popular places like Shimla and Manali but also in lesser-known cities like Naggar and Jibhi is a cause for concern.”
