New Delhi: There is a ruckus against the government regarding oil prices. Congress demonstrated in different parts of the country. In Mumbai, Congress workers on a bullock cart demonstrated against the rising oil prices. During this the bullock cart broke down and the Congress workers fell down. In Dehradun too, Congress workers protested against the rising prices of petrol and diesel.

Retail prices of petrol and diesel in Delhi rose by 35 paise and 26 paise per liter to new highs of Rs 100.91 and Rs 89.88 per liter respectively on Saturday. With this increase, now the diesel prices are very close to touching the century mark across the country. Fuel is already more than Rs 100 per liter in some cities of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Petrol prices in all metros have now crossed Rs 100 per liter and OMC officials said that if international oil prices continue to firm up, the fuel price may rise further.
