New Delhi: Delhi State BJP President Adesh Gupta has expelled two municipal councilors from the party for 6 years on charges of indiscipline. This decision was taken due to not voting during the municipal elections. Adesh Gupta said that any kind of indiscipline cannot be tolerated in the party.
In fact, Jyoti Rachoya and Savita Khatri have been expelled from the party for the defeat of BJP candidate for the post of President of Narela Zone of North Delhi Municipal Corporation. In the election for the zone president on June 6, Jyoti Rachoya was absent from the house, while Savita Khatri did not vote for the party’s candidate. After which both were issued show cause notices by the party and they were asked to reply within 24 hours.
Not considering the answers of these two as satisfactory, State President Adesh Gupta, taking action under indiscipline, expelled both the councilors from the party. Since the whole matter, there was resentment for both the councilors in the party. Adesh Gupta said that any kind of indiscipline will not be tolerated inside the party. Whoever is and in any position, if he misuses his position, then he is not pardonable.
