Assembly elections are due in Uttarakhand next year. Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reached Uttarakhand today. Addressing a press conference in Dehradun, he targeted both the ruling party BJP and the opposition Congress. Kejriwal said, God has given everything to Uttarakhand. But the leaders and parties of Uttarakhand left no stone unturned to ruin it. There are two parties in Uttarakhand, like grains are crushed between two millstones, similarly the people of Uttarakhand have been grinding between two parties for 20 years.
Arvind Kejriwal said, “It happened for the first time in the history of 70 years when a ruling political party itself says that our CM is useless. Although the opposition says but in Uttarakhand, the ruling party calls its CM useless. There is no leader in the opposition of either of these two parties. Does any of these two parties care about the people of Uttarakhand. Who will think about the people of Uttarakhand, who will think about the development here. Both the parties have no concern. Both the parties are fighting only for the chair.
Farmers will get free electricity, no power cut
On the issue of electricity, Kejriwal said, ‘Uttarakhand itself generates electricity. Electricity is sent from Uttarakhand to other states. Still, why do the residents of Uttarakhand get electricity so expensive? Has any government in Uttarakhand ever thought of giving free or cheap electricity to the people here? No. Because they don’t have time. He is only engaged in the fight for power.
Kejriwal further said, ‘If our government is formed in Uttarakhand like Delhi, then up to 300 units of electricity will be given free to every family. Old bills will be waived. There will be no power cut. Electricity will come for 24 hours. Free electricity will be given to the farmers of Uttarakhand. Every family gets 200 units of electricity free of cost in Delhi.
