New Delhi: Congress is going to field big leaders to surround the Modi government at the Center on the inflation front. For the next four days, in the capital of almost all the states, the big faces of the Congress will hold a press conference on the issue of ever-increasing prices of petrol, diesel and the rise in the prices of cooking gas and food items.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will hold a press conference in Nagpur. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge to press in Mumbai on Monday.
Congress’s National Secretary and co-in-charge of the party’s media department, Pranav Jha told that big leaders of Congress will hold a press conference in every capital and raise the issue of back-breaking inflation of petrol, diesel, kitchen, food items. He said that the Congress is continuously protesting on the streets on the issue of inflation.
he said, "According to government data, jobs of two crore people have been lost across the country and the income of 20 crore people has decreased by up to ten thousand per month. In such a contrast, inflation is at the highest level since 2012. Through the press conference, we will keep our talk with the data regarding the prices of petrol, diesel, LPG and today’s situation during the time of the UPA government. We will also respond to the false allegation of BJP leaders that the government is not able to reduce oil prices due to oil bond interest." Pranav Jha said that while the oil bond interest is 7 thousand thousand crores annually, the government’s earnings are 4 lakh 53 thousand crores.
