Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolences to all the 40 dead due to lightning. The Chief Minister has issued instructions to provide assistance to the kin of the deceased. CM Yogi ordered that the injured people should be given proper treatment.

CM Gehlot announced compensation
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh from the state government to the next of kin of the deceased. Rs 4 lakh will be given to the dead from the Emergency Relief Fund while Rs 1 lakh will be given from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
