Population Issue: During the coming Parliament session for the demand for population control law, some MPs will present a private member bill and demand discussion. According to the information, Rajya Sabha MPs Rakesh Sinha, Anil Agarwal and Harnath Singh Yadav are presenting the Private Member Bill regarding this issue during the Parliament session.
BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Harnath Singh Yadav says that he has introduced a private member bill in the Rajya Sabha for the demand for population control law. Harnath Singh Yadav says that such provisions should be kept in the population control law so that people are prevented from getting the benefits of government schemes if they have more than two children, should be banned from contesting elections and if they do not agree then under the legal provision. Action to be taken.
Harnath Singh Yadav says that this law is needed not only at the state level but at the central level and it should be applicable to 135 crore people of the country. The law should not be against any religion and community but in the interest of the country.
On the other hand, BJP MP Rakesh Sinha had brought a private member bill in 2019 regarding population control. It is expected that that bill can be discussed in the session. Rakesh Sinha believes that a law should be made for the whole country, although there should be such a provision in that law that strict action will not be taken against the people for 18 months after the law is enacted and during this time work will be done to convince people. After 18 months, if people do not agree, then steps like limiting government schemes and doing away with electoral politics can be taken.
He says that if we do not control the situation now, then after 28-30 years there will be such a situation that there will be a shortage of resources and population explosion will prove to be a harmful step for the country.
