Delhi Coronavirus Cases: There have been less than 50 new cases of corona infection in Delhi today. According to the Health Department, 45 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours. It has happened after more than a year when so few cases of corona have come in a day. In the bulletin of the Health Department, it has been said that three patients died of corona and the infection rate has gone up to 0.08 percent.
So far 14,35,128 people have been infected with corona in the city. Of these, 14,09,417 lakh people have so far recovered from the infection and 25,018 patients have died. At present, 693 patients are being treated in Delhi.
On Sunday, 53 new cases of infection were reported in Delhi and three patients died. At the same time, 76 new cases were confirmed on Saturday and 81 on Friday.
Delhi has been badly affected by the second wave of Corona. On April 20 this year, the capital had the highest number of 28,395 new cases in a single day and then the infection rate was 36.2 percent. On May 3, the maximum number of 448 patients died.
Action for flouting the rules
Corona rules have been gradually relaxed in Delhi. However, the negligence of the people is still being seen in many places. In view of this, on Monday, the Delhi government closed the Janpath market till further orders.
Earlier, parts of Lajpat Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Kamla Nagar, Sarojini Nagar, Karol Bagh and Sadar Bazar were closed for violating the rules related to Kovid-19.
