Before enacting a law, the government should tell how many children its ministers have : Salman Khurshid
Senior Congress leader and former external affairs minister Salman Khurshid has said that ‘the government before making laws’ He should tell how many children his ministers have. He said, ‘‘Before bringing the population control law, the government should inform how many children their ministers have, then implement the bill.’

Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad said that patriotic Muslims will not oppose population control law. Mahant Narendra Giri, president of the Akhara Parishad, said, “Some Muslim religious leaders in the country are opposing this law saying that children are the gift of Allah. Why do they drag Allah in the middle in every matter? A patriot and a true Muslim will not oppose this law because he knows that if children are less, they will be able to give them good education, health.”
VHP raised questions on one child policy, said- two child policy should be considered
Suggestion has also been sent to Uttar Pradesh Law Commission on behalf of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. In its suggestions, Vishwa Hindu Parishad has demanded the removal of the proposed one child policy of the State Law Commission. Also suggested that two child policy should be implemented in the state.
