So far more than 38 crore vaccine doses have been given
After the start of the third phase of vaccination in the country, 11 crore 41 lakh 34 thousand 915 people aged 18 to 44 years have been given the first dose of vaccine and 38 lakh 88 thousand 828 people have been given the second dose till Monday. According to the Ministry of Health, in these eight states, UP, MP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, more than 50 lakh people in the age group of 18-44 have been given the first dose of the vaccine.
Whereas, in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal more than 10 lakh people in the age group of 18-44 were given the first dose of the vaccine. .
Let’s know the state wise vaccination figures
Till Monday, 89 lakh 37 thousand 904 doses of vaccine were given in Delhi. The bulletin said that a total of 36,238 vaccine doses were given on Monday.
According to official figures of the Maharashtra government, a total of 3,65,25,990 doses of the vaccine were consumed in the state till Sunday. State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said- So far we have received more than 3.60 crore doses of vaccine, out of which about 25 lakh doses have been directly procured by the state government.
The West Bengal government has been accused of shortfall in the supply of corona vaccine. However, so far 2.30 crore doses of the vaccine have been received here and more than 1.77 crore people have taken both the first dose and more than 62 lakh people have taken both the doses.
There is a huge shortage of vaccination in Odisha. The Health Department official said on Monday that vaccination had to be stopped in 15 out of 30 districts. A civic official said that till July 12, the state administration has vaccinated more than 10 lakh people in Bhubaneswar itself, out of which 5.43 lakh people have been given the first dose of vaccine.
In Puducherry, 4 lakh 32 thousand people of senior citizens and people above 45 years of age with serious illness were vaccinated. A total of 6.08 lakh people have been vaccinated, including those who have taken the second dose of the vaccine.
Private hospitals in Andhra Pradesh have so far given only 4.01 lakh doses of corona virus vaccines, while the government has given 1.73 crore doses so far. In the category of health workers, out of 4,74,709, 4,68,621 (98.72 per cent) have been given the first dose and 3,17,811 have been given the second dose. Of the 13,01,696 frontline personnel identified, 12,77,638 (98.15 per cent) took the first dose, while only 4,81,741 received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. In the age group above 45, only 70.70 per cent of the 1,33,07,889 eligible beneficiaries have been given the first dose.
In Rajasthan, 2.63 crore people have been given the first dose of the vaccine and out of these, 46 lakh people have received the second dose.
There are about 4.8 crore people above the age of 18 years in Gujarat, out of which about 2.15 crore people have received the first dose of vaccine and 63.40 lakh people have been given the second dose.
Andaman and Nicobar
In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, 2 lakh 25 thousand 809 people have been given anti-Covid-19 vaccines so far, out of which 1 lakh 64 thousand 207 people have been given the first dose and 61 thousand 602 people have been given the second dose. The population of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is four lakhs.
