PM Modi in Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi on July 15. He will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several development projects during the visit. At around 11 am, the Prime Minister will inaugurate various public projects and works including a 100-bed MCH wing at BHU, multi-level parking at Godaulia, Ro-Ro Vessel for tourism development on river Ganga and a three-lane flyover bridge on the Varanasi-Ghazipur highway. These projects are worth 744 crores which will be inaugurated.
The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for several projects and public works worth about Rs 839 crore. These include the Center for Skill and Technical Support of the Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology (CIPET), 143 rural projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission and Mango and Vegetable Integrated Pack House at Karkhianv.
At 12.15 pm, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the International Cooperation and Convention Center – Rudrakash, which has been constructed with Japanese assistance. After this, at around 2 pm, he will inspect the Maternal and Child Health Wing, BHU. He will also meet with officials and medical professionals to review the preparedness for Kovid.
Election strategist Prashant Kishor met Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Harish Rawat were also present in the meeting
