New Delhi: Delhi, the capital of the country, seems to be struggling with the problem of water. Due to which once again a war is seen between Delhi and Haryana over the supply of water. Recently, the Delhi Jal Board had accused the Haryana government of deliberately curtailing the water supply being given to Delhi. Regarding which Haryana CM Manehar Lal Khattar has said that the habit of praising the CM of Delhi and the appetite for advertising has increased a lot.
Haryana CM Manehar Lal Khattar has targeted Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal amid the war over water supply, alleging that Kejriwal has got used to advertising himself. He says that as per the order of the Supreme Court, Delhi is being supplied as much water as it should. He says that he is not keeping even a drop of water with him.
Delhi CM has a habit of promoting&praising himself. We’re releasing water as per SC’s order. Not a single drop of water is being held. We require 1.5 times more drinking water but we give it to them. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar says that he too needs about 1.5 times more water in his state, even after that he continues to supply water to Delhi. He says that Delhi and Haryana are not separate states but a good neighbor.
Let us inform that in the past, Delhi Jal Board vice-chairman Raghav Chadha had said that the water supply to Delhi from Haryana is being reduced. He had said that the Haryana government is supplying less water to Delhi at the rate of about 120 million gallons per day. On this, Raghav Chadha said that if this continues, Delhi may have to face the problem of water in the coming times.
