Corona Vaccination: So far more than 38 crore 76 lakh vaccine doses have been given in India. According to the Union Health Ministry, 38,76,97,935 vaccine doses have been given till Friday morning, in which 31,13,87,539 people have been given the first dose while 7,63,10,396 people have been given both doses. In the last 24 hours i.e. on July 13, 37,14,441 vaccine doses were given. According to the Union Health Ministry, out of 38,76,97,935 doses given so far, 1,02,56,229 healthcare workers have been given the first and 74,47,783 healthcare workers have been given the second dose.
- 1,77,30,845 frontline workers have been given the first dose and 1,00,52,409 the second dose.
- 11,64,12,064 people aged 18 to 44 years have received the first dose and 40,30,999 people have received the second dose of the vaccine.
- 9,56,42,767 people in the age group of 45 to 59 years have been given the first and 2,54,39,376 people have been given the second dose of corona vaccine.
- 7,13,45,634 people above 60 years of age have been given the first and 2,93,39,829 second doses.
In India, 38,792 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours while 624 people have died. A total of 3,09,46,074 people have been infected in the country so far, out of which 3,01,04,720 people have been cured while 4,11,408 people have died. At the same time, the number of active cases in the country i.e. those patients who are undergoing treatment is 4,29,946.
The nationwide vaccination campaign was launched on 16 January and the vaccination of frontline workers started on 2 February. The next phase of corona vaccination started from March 1, in which people above 60 years of age along with people above 45 years of age who have serious illness started vaccination.
At the same time, vaccination was started for every person above 45 years of age from April 1. Vaccination of people 18 to 44 years old started from 1 May. Whereas from June 21, the introduction of free vaccination to people above the age of 18 years started.
Health workers reached higher than 14 thousand feet to vaccinate corona, tracking for 9 hours
