New Delhi: Monsoon has knocked in Delhi. It is raining heavily in many areas of the city. Where people have got relief from the heat due to rain, trees and plants have also grown. On Wednesday, there was light rain in many parts of Delhi, while some parts saw light to moderate rain. It has been said by the Meteorological Department that the monsoon can soak Delhi with its showers in the coming six days.
Let us tell you that this time the south-west monsoon has finally reached Delhi. Leaving Delhi longing, the monsoon had reached its last stop in Jaisalmer and Ganganagar districts of Rajasthan on Monday. Due to which Delhiites had to yearn for rain.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in Delhi even today. The maximum temperature of the city can go up to 33 degree Celsius today. The humidity in the city will be around 89 per cent while the wind speed is likely to be around 11 kmph. The people of Delhi are very happy due to the rains, while some people are facing some difficulties due to the problem of water logging in many areas.
On the other hand, heavy rains can be seen in Goa, Maharashtra and Kutch. Apart from this, the hill state of Himachal Pradesh, which is facing the brunt of the rain, is not getting any relief yet.
Let us inform that Orange Alert has been issued by IMD in Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana today.
