The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Wednesday successfully completed a major test related to India’s Gaganyaan mission. This was the third Test which was successful for the longest period so far. This development engine will be used to launch the Gaganyaan mission. Let us tell you that the Gaganyaan mission is the most ambitious mission of India. Through which Indian astronauts will be sent to space. It is to demonstrate the ability to send these passengers to low Earth orbit and bring them back to Earth.
India had prepared for this mission in 2014 itself when the module was tested through GSLV Mark 3. The date was 18 December 2014, the module was named CARE i.e. Crew Module Atmospheric Re-entry Experiment which reached space and returned to the Earth’s surface after which that capsule was placed in the Bay of Bengal near Andaman and Nicobar Islands. was retrieved from. Since then, the process of training and testing continues for the Gaganyaan mission. When ISRO tweeted to inform about this on Wednesday, Elon Musk also commented on it and said “Congratulations India”.
country’s first manned mission
The Gaganyaan mission is the country’s first manned mission to be sent to space. It will be launched with the help of liquid propellant engine development. This is the reason why it is being tested again and again. So far three tests have been done. In which the test done yesterday was done for 240 seconds for the longest heat test core L110 liquid stage so far. This test was done at ISRO Propulsion Complex in Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu.
Four Indian astronauts also went to Russia for space flight training for the Gaganyaan space program. Three unmanned test missions are to be launched before the man mission. Whose deadline is to be at the end of this year and two in 2022. The Gaganyaan mission was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independence Day address on 15 August 2018.
Recently, after the Virgin Galactic mission, the discussion about space tourism has started all over the world, in such a situation, the question is also where does India stand for space tourism. It is fair that after India’s first manned mission, space tourism will get wings in our country too. Also, India is going to build its own space station. This is the reason why the International Space Station did not give its name in the list.
