Fugitive diamond trader Mehul Choksi has reached Antigua after getting bail in Dominica. At the same time, Mehul has given a statement that he has come back home, but the torture he has to bear due to this case has harassed him mentally and physically.
In fact, the Dominica High Court on Monday accepted Mehul Choksi’s appeal and allowed him to go to Antigua. Keeping in mind his health, the court has allowed him to go to Antigua. Let me tell you, he was in custody there for 51 days on the charge of illegally entering Dominica.

Court hearing was held in the last week of June
The hearing was held in the court in the last week of June last month. He could not come to court due to his ill health. He continued to appear in the hearing from the hospital itself. The accused in the PNB Bank scam had fled India to Antigua, from where he was trying to go to some other country. But he was arrested in Dominica. At the same time, Indian officials have said that this is a golden opportunity for us when Vigilance can be brought to India. If he goes to Antigua, he will not return to Dominica.
