New Delhi: There has been a situation of tension between India and China for a long time. Meanwhile, sources say that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has held a meeting with former Defense Ministers AK Antony and Sharad Pawar.
Sources say that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has met former Defense Ministers amid the ongoing tension with China. These included AK Antony and Sharad Pawar. During this, Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane briefed the former Defense Ministers about the ongoing conflict on the China border. According to sources, both the former defense ministers had doubts about China’s position, which was clarified by the CDS and the army chief.

Let us tell you that India has given a clear message to China that bilateral relations are being affected in a clearly negative way due to the prolonged persistence of the current situation in eastern Ladakh, after which China on Thursday said that it will discuss those matters with each other. I am ready to find acceptable solutions which need to be resolved immediately through dialogue.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar told his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi during an hour-long meeting on the sidelines of a Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Dushanbe that any unilateral change in the status quo on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is not acceptable to India. And only after complete restoration of peace in Eastern Ladakh can relations develop in a holistic manner.
