New Delhi: The politics regarding water in Delhi is not taking its name to stop. In Delhi, which is craving for water, the Congress-BJP have also demonstrated continuously on the streets in the past. Meanwhile, 16 thousand cusecs of water has also been released from Haryana in Yamuna, but the round of discussion and allegations about water does not end here. Delhi Pradesh Congress President Anil Chaudhary showed the ‘Water Truth Report’ by holding a press conference today. ‘Kejriwal is giving dirty water to the people.
Releasing a report on the reality of water, Anil Kumar said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is taking dirty water to people’s homes in the name of free water, due to which people are facing terrible diseases.
State President Anil Chaudhary says in a conversation with ABP News, “Arvind Kejriwal is directly to blame for the lack of water in Delhi. Remembering Arvind Kejriwal’s 2013 speech where he had said that there is no shortage of water in Delhi, there is a lack of management, then he had assured that if we come to power, water will come when we open the taps. 7 years is a lot of time, till now the situation has gone from bad to worse.”
Anil Chaudhary said that we have collected information about diseases caused by contaminated water through RTI. The figures are surprising. We asked for details of 10 hospitals. Water borne diseases like kidney, malaria, diarrhea, liver patients are more than 4 lakh 90 thousand. There have been 19 thousand deaths. Among them are hospitals like RML, GB Pant, Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, Lal Bahadur Shastri etc. These are the people who were not treated in Mohalla clinics, who had to go to the hospital. In the name of free water, you have given free disease.

According to the WHO standard, if more than 5% of the samples fail, there are instructions to stop the water supply. Regarding this matter, Anil Chaudhary says, “According to the WHO for the standard of water, if more than 5 percent of the water samples fail, that water will not be suitable for drinking and the supply will be stopped. 9 water samples with Delhi Jal Board There are test labs where dirty water is being supplied. The Jal Board is making a huge cut in the sample collection because in 2017 where 11860 samples were checked, in 2020 only 1426 remained and the number of failed samples is increasing continuously. In 2017, where 28 percent of the samples failed, at present the water failure samples have increased to 47 percent. About 47% of the samples have failed. Even after that, so much contaminated water is being delivered to people’s homes.
