New Delhi l More than 46.38 lakh doses of Kovid-19 vaccine were given in the country on Saturday and more than 40 crore doses have been given so far. The Ministry of Health gave this information. A total of 21,18,682 beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 were given the first dose while 2,33,019 were given the second dose on Saturday, the ministry said.
According to the report till 7 pm, ‘More than 40 crore (40,44,67,526) vaccines have been administered in India so far.’ According to the report, more than 46.38 lakh (46,38,106) doses were given on Saturday. Overall, 12,40,07,069 people in the age group of 18-44 have been given the first dose while 48,50,858 people have been given the second dose in 37 states and union territories since the start of the third phase of the nationwide vaccination campaign.
More than 50 lakh beneficiaries have been vaccinated in these states
Over 50 lakh beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 have been given the first dose of vaccine in eight states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra. In Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal, more than 10 lakh beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 have been given the first dose of the vaccine.
