Parliament Monsoon Session: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an all-party meeting in Parliament before the start of the monsoon session of Parliament. Tomorrow i.e. from July 19 to August 13, the monsoon session of Parliament will run. After this meeting, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that more than 40 leaders of about 33 party participated in the discussion and they also suggested what should be discussed. The Prime Minister said in the meeting that there should be healthy and meaningful discussions in a peaceful manner.
Shiromani Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal also attended this meeting. He resigned from the Modi cabinet in protest against the agricultural laws. After the meeting, Harsimrat Kaur said, “Today all the parties said that the farmers’ movement is a big issue and it should be resolved. The House will run when the issues of the people are resolved.” According to the information, 31 bills including 2 financial bills can be introduced in the monsoon session of Parliament starting tomorrow.
Farmers’ performance will intensify during monsoon session
The demonstration of farmers’ organizations will intensify against the agricultural laws. Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union said on Sunday that on July 22, 200 of our people will go to Parliament. We have also asked the people of the opposition to raise their point in the House. Regarding this, Delhi Police held a meeting with a delegation of farmers near the Singhu border.
On the meeting with Delhi Police, farmer leader Darshan Pal said that there was a talk with the police. We have told the police that on July 22, 200 people will go to Parliament and farmers will run the Parliament there. We never talked about gheraoing the Parliament. We hope we will get permission.
