Parliament Monsoon Session: The monsoon session of Parliament is to begin from Monday 19th July. Before the session, the central government called an all-party meeting in which consultations were held with the opposition. The monsoon session is expected to be a stormy one, as the opposition is preparing to surround the central government on many fronts. The issue of Kisan Andalon was also hot in the last session and this time also there can be a ruckus on it.
Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, who attended the all-party meeting, said that apart from the issue of farmers sitting on the agitation for 8 months, the party will also register its protest in the House against inflation and the Electricity Amendment Bill.
After the all-party meeting, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that before the beginning of the monsoon session, there was an all-party meeting of the government in which many important issues were raised. The most important issue among them was the farmers. The farmers have been sitting on the movement for the last 8 months, which is probably the biggest movement of farmers after the independence of India, on this the government is completely careless, insensitive.
Apart from this, the way inflation is increasing in the country, this issue was raised prominently as well as the issue of Electricity Amendment Bill. The Electricity Amendment Bill has been mentioned in the list of bills at number 27. About which the government had accepted in conversation with the farmers that we will not bring this bill, the government is preparing to bring this bill by cheating the farmers.
On the issue of Electricity Amendment Bill, Sanjay Singh says that I want to inform the farmer brothers and the people of the country that to benefit some private companies through this Electricity Amendment Bill, the government is coming up with a law in which the entire The capacity and powers of the state governments will be exhausted and the government is preparing to collect the bills of farmers or common citizens arbitrarily.
He said that in the time of Kovid, when people’s back has been broken due to inflation, in the name of Electricity Amendment Bill, the government is preparing to bring the people of the country to tragedy. We will register our protest in the House on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party and such bills which work to put burden on the back of the people should be stopped.
