Coronavirus Third Wave: The UP government has issued an alert regarding the third wave of Corona. Kovid negative report has been made mandatory for those coming from Kerala, Maharashtra and Northeast states. Now RT PCR test will have to be done before coming to UP. The report up to four days in advance will be valid. If you have negative report then you can come to UP. Those who have taken both doses of the vaccine, they will get exemption in this rule. You will have to provide proof of vaccination upon request.
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with the officers of Team 9 at his home regarding Kovid. In this meeting, he gave many guidelines regarding the third possible wave of Corona. Yogi said that we need to be vigilant at every level. Ordered to make negative reports mandatory for those coming to UP from states more affected by Corona by road, flight service or rail.
Continuous checking will be done at the airport, bus stand and railway station. For this, teams of health workers will be deployed. Who will continuously monitor the visitors. The rule of negative report will be applicable to the states which have more than three percent positivity rate.
It was also decided that the vaccination campaign should continue in the state. So far four crore people have got the vaccine. In UP, separate vaccine centers have been set up for the parents of children between 12 years and 18 years. 7 more districts of UP have become corona free. Now there is not a single corona patient in Aligarh, Chitrakoot, Mahoba, Hathras, Kasganj, Shravasti and Shamli. No new cases of corona are coming in 47 districts, while in the remaining 28 districts, the figure has come to single digit.
