Monsoon Session: In the monsoon session of Parliament starting from July 19, there is expected to be a dispute between the government and the opposition on issues like agricultural laws, farmers’ movement, inflation, second wave of corona and Indo-China border tension. The government will also introduce some such bills, which are likely to be discussed.
According to the government, in this session, it wants to get a total of 31 bills passed after discussion. Of these, 20 are new bills. There are 6 bills out of 20 new bills which will be introduced in lieu of the ordinance. Bills to be introduced in lieu of the ordinance include the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, the Essential Defense Services Bill and the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR & adjoining areas Bill.
