Kuldeep wrote on his official Twitter page, “The operation was successful and the recovery process has started. Thank you all for the support. Now the focus is on completing the rehabilitation well and then returning to the field as soon as possible.” I want to do what I love to do.”

Injury during practice
Kuldeep, who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL, is running out of the Indian team and will have to undergo a lengthy rehabilitation process before returning to competitive cricket. A senior official of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had revealed, “Yes, we have received information that Kuldeep suffered a serious knee injury during a practice session in the UAE. He probably got his knee bent while fielding and that time The injury was serious.” He further said, “There was no possibility that he would be able to participate further in the IPL and hence he was sent back to India.”

Kuldeep from Kanpur, UP has taken a total of 174 wickets in seven Tests, 65 ODIs and 23 T20 Internationals for India. He last played for India on the Sri Lanka tour. He was once a regular member of Team India in limited overs cricket, but due to not performing well in IPL, he is now running out of Team India.
