IND Vs NZ WTC 2021 Final: The final match of the ICC World Test Championship is being played between India and New Zealand in Southampton. But very disappointing news has come out of the field from Southampton. On the fifth day of the match, two spectators used offensive language against the New Zealand players. The ICC, however, took strong action and threw both the spectators out of the field.
The ICC issued a statement and informed about the action taken on the two spectators. The ICC said, “We have received reports that New Zealand players were abused. Our security team identified the accused and they were thrown out of the field.
The ICC has made it clear that it will not accept any kind of bad behavior against players. “We will not accept any form of abusive behavior in cricket,” the statement said.
Abusive words used against Ross Taylor
According to the report, two spectators sitting in Block M said abusive words. This block is just below Team Hotel. The security personnel on the ground immediately became active. Some fans also raised this issue on social media, after which the ICC informed about the action.
According to the information revealed, Kiwi player Ross Taylor was called abusive. New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee, however, said that no Kiwi player is aware of this. Tim Southee said, “We are not aware of this. No member of the team knows what such incident has happened on the field.
Earlier in January, spectators were thrown out at the Sydney Cricket Ground for making racial remarks on Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. Cricket Australia had also apologized for the incident against Mohammad Siraj.
