India vs New ZealandOn Wednesday, the sixth and last day of the final match of the World Test Championship (WTC) being played against New Zealand at The Rose Bowl, the Indian innings faltered and scored 130 for five in the second innings till the lunch break. However, Team India has achieved a lead of 98 runs so far.
New Zealand’s first innings was all out for 249 on the fifth day and they took a lead of 32 runs. Two days of play was completely washed away due to rain, due to which today the reserve day was kept. Till lunch, wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is present at the crease after scoring 28 runs off 48 balls with the help of four fours and Ravindra Jadeja scoring 12 runs off 20 balls with the help of two fours. Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson took two wickets each for New Zealand, while Trent Boult has got one wicket so far.

Earlier today, India extended their innings by 64 runs for two wickets and Cheteshwar Pujara 12 and captain Virat Kohli started playing ahead by eight runs. However, Kohli could not stay at the crease for long and returned to the pavilion after scoring 13 runs off 29 balls off Jamieson.
After Kohli’s departure, Pujara also became a victim of Jamieson. Pujara scored 15 runs in 80 balls with the help of two fours. Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane again formed a partnership with Pant but before this partnership took some big form, Boult gave India the fifth blow by dismissing Rahane. Rahane scored 15 runs in 40 balls with the help of a four.
