WTC Final: New Zealand won the title by winning the final match of the World Test Championship. Team India’s performance in the final match was not good and due to this the team lost the match. Former India legend Sachin Tendulkar has said a big thing about the batsmen of the Indian team. He tweeted that India lost this match after losing the wickets of captain Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara within two overs.

Sachin Tendulkar tweeted, “Congratulations to the Black Caps on winning the World Test Championship. You were the better team. Team India will be disappointed with its performance. Like I said the first 10 overs will be necessary and India lost both Kohli and Pujara in 10 balls and it put a lot of pressure on the team.

Kohli and Pujara were dismissed like this
In the second innings, both captain Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara were dismissed by fast bowler Kyle Jamieson. Jamieson also pulled movement and bounce off the Southampton pitch on the sixth day, which was reserve day. Kohli got out on the fifth ball of the 35th over, while Pujara was out on the third ball of the 37th over.
Many veterans praised New Zealand’s performance
Many Indian legends including Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman have praised New Zealand’s excellent performance in the final match of the World Test Championship. Both New Zealand’s bowlers and batsmen performed brilliantly and played an important role in winning the team. On the other hand, the performance of Indian batsmen was very poor.
