WTC Final: India had to face defeat in the final match of the World Test Championship. New Zealand won the WTC title by winning by 8 wickets. Indian captain Virat Kohli praised the New Zealand bowlers after the match. He said that New Zealand’s team is excellent because they have fit bowlers, who stay in good rhythm for a long time. The Indian team has not been able to stand in front of the New Zealand bowlers in the last six innings and has been reduced to a score of 200. The performance of Indian batsmen in the final match was very poor.
The fitness of New Zealand bowlers is tremendous
Kohli said after the match that, “New Zealand’s team is very impressive. We have seen them over the years. Their team is better and they really like to play cricket.” He told that due to fitness and rhythm, New Zealand bowlers could bowl in the same department for a long time. Kohli said, if you don’t put his bowler under pressure, then he is so fit and in rhythm that for a long time he will bowl in one place all day and get you in trouble.
Kohli praises Jamieson
Kohli lauded New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson, who dismissed Kohli in both the innings. Kohli said, “Jamesson is a good bowler and I have faced many bowlers like him in my career. His length, I think, gives him an advantage. It is difficult for batsmen to stay in his rhythm.” “I think we didn’t get Jamieson under pressure. We allowed him to bowl at one spot. He wasn’t bowling in the department where we could get runs against him,” he said.
