The cricket world has got a new star in the form of Kyle Jamieson during the ICC World Test Championship. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has also become a fan of Kyle Jameson. Seeing the performance of Kyle Jamieson in the World Test Championship final, Sachin Tendulkar has praised him fiercely. Sachin believes that Kyle Jamieson has the potential to become the best all-rounder in world cricket.
Jamieson’s contribution was important in making New Zealand the WTC champion. He took seven wickets for 61 runs in the bowling of 44 overs in the match. Along with this, he also scored 21 runs in the first innings. Sachin Tendulkar said, “Kyle Jamieson is a great all-rounder. He will go on to become one of the best all-rounders in world cricket.
Sachin Tendulkar impressed by Jamieson’s batting
Even before the World Test final, Sachin Tendulkar was impressed by Jamieson’s talent. The former veteran cricketer said, “When I saw Kyle Jamieson last in New Zealand, he impressed me.”
Tendulkar then explained the reason for Jamieson’s bowling being more dangerous in England. Sachin said, “If you look at his bowling, he is very tall and he likes to use the seam of the ball more than swing. He is a different bowler than Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Neil Wagner.
Tendulkar also liked Jamieson’s way of playing big shots using his height. He said, “Jameson’s partnership with Williamson was important for New Zealand. He chose to attack with the first ball and used his stature to the best of his ability. It’s great for a tall batsman to come and play on the front foot.
