More than the professional life of Team India’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami, his personal life has always been in the news. His relationship with wife Hasin Jahan has always been in controversies. Both of them got married in April 2014 but soon in 2018 there was a rift in their relationship. Both have not divorced yet but have been living separately for a few years. After marriage, both became parents of a daughter who is now living with Haseen. Haseen has not even written Shami’s name in daughter Ayra’s surname and in her daughter’s name she is putting her surname ‘Hasin’.
The rift in Hasin and Shami’s relationship started when Hasin accused Shami of match-fixing, physical harassment and having affair with other women. Not only this, Hasin also created a ruckus by accusing Shami’s brother of rape, although no evidence could be found for many of these allegations. Even the BCCI had set up an inquiry against Shami on the allegations of match-fixing, but there was no evidence in that too, after which he was given a clean chit. Shami and Hasin met during the IPL. Haseen used to be a cheer leader.
During this, the series of mail meetings between him and Shami increased and both of them got married. This was Haseen’s second marriage. Earlier, she was married to Sheikh Saifuddin in 2002. After marriage, Haseen became the mother of two daughters, but the increasing dispute between Haseen and Saifu broke the family of both of them. Saifu and Haseen also got divorced in 2010. After the divorce, Haseen did not even take the responsibility of daughters and now Saifuddin has the responsibility of raising daughters. Saifuddin had described Haseen as very ambitious in an interview.
