Third Largest Cricket Stadium: The world’s third largest cricket stadium will be built in Jaipur, popularly known as Pinky City. This stadium will have a seating capacity of 75,000 people. Its construction will be done in two phases. The Jaipur Development Authority has allotted land to the Rajasthan Cricket Association for this huge stadium. This stadium will be built on Delhi Road in Chop village. After its construction, the record for the world’s first and third largest cricket stadium will be made in India.
Know what will be special
This new stadium in Jaipur will have a seating capacity of 75,000 people and will be built in two phases. Under the first phase, it will be built with a capacity of 45,000 people, while in the second phase its capacity will be expanded to 30,000. Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) commissioner Gaurav Goel told that the construction of the stadium will be done on about 100 acres of land and will be completed in 2.5-3 years with an investment of about Rs 650 crore.
BCCI gave a grant of 100 crores
According to Goyal, the BCCI has given a grant of Rs 100 crore during the loan. 100 crore will be collected. 90 crores will be collected by RCA and others. 400 crores will be invested under the first phase. RCA will take a loan of Rs 100 crore, Rs 90 crore will be deposited through the corporate box. Apart from two practice grounds, the new stadium will also have an academy, club house hotel and all other state-of-the-art facilities, which are available in all international stadiums.
World’s largest cricket stadium is in Ahmedabad
