Tokyo Olympics 2021: India’s star sprinter Hima Das could not make it to the Tokyo Olympics due to injury. He gave this information on Tuesday through Twitter. Hima said in the shared note that she will make a strong comeback in big competitions next year. His exclusion from the Olympics has dealt a blow to India’s hopes of getting a medal in the race.
The injury forced the 21-year-old to pull out of the finals of 100m and 4x400m. She competed in the 200m final but could not make it to the Olympics, finishing fifth. Hima, one of the most talented Indian athletics players, suffered a leg muscle injury while competing in the 100m heat at the National Inter-State Athletics Championships last month.
