Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh Only Test: Wicketkeeper-batsman Liton Das (95), captain Mominul Haque (70) and Mahmudullah (54 not out) scored a superb half-centuries to propel Bangladesh to the end of the first day of the one-off Test against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club. He scored 294 runs for eight wickets in the first innings. Mahmudullah 54 off 141 balls with the help of five fours and Taskin Ahmed 13 runs off 15 balls with the help of two fours are present at the crease till the stumps.
For Zimbabwe, Blessing Mujarabani took three wickets while Donald Tripano and Victor Niauchi took two wickets each. At the same time, Richard Nagarao got a wicket.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and batted first, recovering from a bad start and reaching the stumps in a good position. Litton Das played an excellent innings in Bangladesh’s innings, but he missed a century and was dismissed for 95 runs in 147 balls with the help of 13 fours. Apart from him, Mominul scored 70 runs in 92 balls with the help of 13 fours.
Bangladesh had at one point lost their six wickets for just 132 runs, but after this Mahmudullah and Litton Das put on 138 runs for the seventh wicket. Shadman Islam contributed 23 and Mushfiqur Rahim contributed 11 runs in Bangladesh’s innings. Apart from this, Saif Hasan 00, Nazmul Hossain Shanto 02, Mehdi Hasan 00 and senior all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan could only score three runs.
