ICC T20 Rankings: The International Cricket Council has released the latest rankings for T20 Internationals and ODIs. Team India’s captain Virat Kohli has remained fifth in the rankings. Wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul, however, has gained a place and has moved up from seventh to sixth position. England’s star player David Malan remains at the first position in the rankings. Virat and Rohit have retained their positions in the ODI rankings.
Virat Kohli has 762 points in T20 rankings. David Malan of England is at number one with 888 points. Aaron Finch is second with 830 points, Babar Azam is third with 828 points and Devon Conway is fourth with 774 points.
Rahul is ranked sixth with 743 points and Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has jumped a place to seventh. Rahul and Kohli are the two Indian batsmen in the top 10. No Indian player is included in the top 10 of bowlers and all-rounders in T20 International rankings.
Virat and Rohit remain in the top three
Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma continue to dominate in the ODI rankings. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma remain in the top 5. Babar Azam is at the first place in the ODI rankings, while Virat Kohli is second. Rohit Sharma is at the third position in the ODI rankings.
India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is included in the top 10 in the ODI rankings. Bumrah, however, has slipped a place to number six. Star cricketer Ravindra Jadeja is ranked ninth in the all-rounders’ list.
England’s all-rounder Chris Woakes reached his career-best third ranking on the back of a brilliant performance in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Other England fast bowlers David Willey and Tom Curran have also benefited in the latest ranking update. Willie has jumped 13 places to 37th and Curran has gained 20 places to 68th.
