The first match of the 3-match ODI series was played between Sri Lanka and India on Sunday. In this match, Sri Lanka, batting first, set a target of 263 runs in front of the Indian team. The Indian team’s openers, who came to chase the target, gave a great start. Prithvi Shaw came for the opening with captain Shikhar Dhawan against Sri Lanka. Prithvi Shaw dominated the Sri Lankan bowlers as soon as he arrived. He played a quick innings of 43 runs in 24 balls. Meanwhile, former cricketer Virender Sehwag made such a tweet about Prithvi Shaw which is becoming increasingly viral. However, he did not name Prithvi in this tweet.
Sehwag shared a photo of himself, Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter in praise of Shaw. He wrote, ‘In the first 5.3 overs, we were blown away.’ Shaw’s batting is said to have glimpses of Tendulkar, Sehwag and Lara. Shaw also showed in this match against Sri Lanka. The way he played the shots, the memory of these three batsmen was reminiscent. This tweet of his is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
